Joe Subolefsky

Joe Subolefsky a passionate, lifelong outdoorsman , who has spent untold hours afield around the world striving for technical perfection behind the lens allowing his photographs to, not only, capture natures beauty, but tell it’s story. Joe’s highly awarded work has graced the cover of Ducks Unlimited And Natural History Magazine as well as Cornell manuals and many other media outlets.

Joe will be doing an hour long presentation on bird photography. We will cover basics of getting the proper camera settings to tricks and techniques to maximize your time afield and bring home pleasing images. Then go afield with participants for the next hour with a hands on captive raptor shoot presented by the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center of Virginia. Please bring along your camera with at least a medium telephoto lens to maximize the experience.
