Jennifer King

Photographer, Writer and Instructor

Jennifer is an international landscape and wildlife photographer with over 20 years in the photo industry. Her lifetime passion for teaching photography, exploring the world and discovering new and beautiful locations to photograph has gained her acclaim in the U.S. and across the world.

Based in the U.S, Jennifer spends much of her time photographing America’s National Parks. While she first did this as a retreat from the hectic corporate world, she soon realized that nature photography was her true calling. She began teaching photography at her home base in North Carolina, and currently teaches and speaks at events and with organizations across the country. Jennifer began to conduct photo workshops in our National Parks, and eventually added several international destinations such as Iceland, Italy, France, Norway and many more to her expertise.

Her published works and articles can be found in the industry’s top magazines and resources such as Outdoor Photographer, Outdoor Photography Guide, VIA Magazine, Camera in the Wild, Our State Magazine, CNN and Smoky Mountain Journal of Photography. She has appeared as keynote and speaker at many events including NANPA’s 20th Anniversary Summit, CNPA Annual Expo, Nature Visions Photo Expo, Wicked Wild Waterfall Weekend, Grandfather Mountain Camera Clinic, and has become a part of the renowned Photo Fest.

Jennifer’s contributions to photography have made an impact with the photographic community and with the industry. 500px named her as 1 of 15 amazing women to follow. She is also one of Singh-Rays pro photographers. Her passion for teaching, sharing knowledge and inspiring others shows in her growing workshop business, and is a sign of her widely respected ability to teach photography. Photoshelter name Jennifer King Photography Workshops as one of 50 Awesome Photo Workshops Around the World.

In 2013, Jennifer founded PHOTOGRAPHY for the FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER (PFABC). Each year, PFABC partners (BCRF) the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and brings together photographers, sponsors, individuals and the industry to raise money and awareness for breast cancer patients and research.
