Eileen Rafferty

Eileen Rafferty believes in making meaningful work and discovering something new every day. Her experience in photography is diverse and eclectic. This includes working as a professional darkroom printer, a freelance photographer, founding and managing a photographic magazine, and being an exhibiting artist.

Currently she teaches workshops and lectures around the country on topics such as Creativity and Photographic History. She also works as a freelance video editor and has a Creative Consulting business to inspire and motivate clients to pursue and nurture a creative life.

In her art studio, her work combines a lifelong study of photography to create mixed media, video, drawings and photographs.
Her degrees are an MFA in Photography/Film from VCU in Richmond, VA and a BS in Physiology from Penn State University. Home at this time is Missoula, Montana where she searches for all life’s big and little answers.
