A flash is one of the most important tools in photography and this is especially true when we take control of the flash and unleash its potential.

Punit Sinha explains how exposure with flash works, the technical aspects of flash photography, the factors that play a role in exposure with flash and how one can control the flash to get the desired effect. He will also explain sync speed, rear, front and high speed sync.

You will also learn some techniques with flash photography, such as red eye reduction, fill and key flash, subject isolation with flash, the nature of light to fall off with distance and the impact a flash has on its distance with the subject.

Sample images will be shown and the flash techniques used in those images will be discussed.
