In Photography today, we are living in a world of innovative ideas and cutting edge technology. What we do with technology creatively can be quite impressive. However, a broader view from
Photographic History allows for a bit of hindsight. In this class, we will explore connections between contemporary trends and their historical counterparts.

I will share three trends in Photography today (the moving image, mixed media/collage and Constructed Reality using Photoshop) and link groundbreaking historical photographers who paved the way for these creative methods we use today.
