Virginia is a state of great natural diversity. Ben Greenberg has been exploring and photographing the state’s natural environment for decades. During this program he will take the audience on a journey through the state’s varied countryside: from the Eastern Shore and the Chesapeake Bay to the Blue Ridge and Alleghany Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley; from the Potomac River to the state’s southern border. One will experience the state’s national parks, national forests and wildlife refuges, as well as state parks, natural preserves and wildlife management areas. Photographs of rivers, lakes and local parks will also be shown. Virginia’s premier outdoor treasures will be featured in Ben’s dramatic photographs with their locations identified.
